Jessi and Bobby worked with our team all the way from Bowling Green, KY to create a breathtaking, lively ceremony and reception held at Waters Edge.
Because Jessi and Bobby lived a few states over during the wedding planning process, it was vital for them to find a planner they could trust. Anita worked with the couple to coordinate every detail with regular progress check-ins.
When the big day came Jessi and Bobby trusted our team to execute the wedding plans to a T, from sending them down the aisle to working with vendors.
Taking flowers over state lines with your luggage would be difficult, to put it mildly. So we worked with Jessi to design her bouquets, centerpieces, and other floral decor and created beautiful pieces for her big day.
Jessi and Bobby needed a hands-off, all-inclusive package to make their wedding as easy as possible. Our team not only handled florals, but also venue decorations - draping, signage, lighting, and more.
There are many details that go into coordinating your vendors - when they should arrive, prep and staging, or even day-of emergencies. Our team assisted Jessi and Bobby in communicating and working with their vendors to ensure a smooth, stress-free day.
Have we mentioned our awesome DJ, Terry? Terry built a wedding playlist specifically for Jessi and Bobby's reception, full of hits to get down to and for those intimate slow dances.

How did you meet? Tell us a little about you!
Bobby and I met in high school and dated off and on then and through college. I ended up in law school in Montgomery and he took a job in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Eventually, I moved to Nashville, just south of Bowling Green where we were able to give it a real shot and we never looked back.
How long was your engagement? Was it enough time?
Our engagement was about 15 months. That time gave us plenty of opportunity to figure out everything we wanted and needed to do but we could have done it faster, I’m sure.
What were your first steps after becoming engaged?
We got engaged right before Christmas so we waited to tell most of our family and friends until we were visiting our families for the holiday. But, by the time we went back home, we’d secured a date, a venue, and Ms. Anita to help us plan a wedding from 8 hours away.
What services did our team provide for you? Looking back, is there anything you wish you would have had us take on?
Ms. Anita really did it all. She coordinated, decorated, liaised with all of our vendors, tried to (and was fairly successful at) fixing the world’s worst wedding cake decor job. She had a clean up crew, was the line of defense between us and everyone else during getting ready time, tracked down the missing rings an hour before the ceremony and helped us make sure my aging grandparents had a solution for getting down to the alter safely. She was a sounding board and full of endless tips and tricks. She made sure we ate, that my bustle was right, and took on all of the type A stress that I would have let stand between me and such a special day. I don’t think there’s anything else she didn’t do that we didn’t take her up on, but her services were worth every dime. We regularly recommend her and her services to our friends because she made our wedding dreams a reality.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding?
I got the crazy idea that we would get a picture of our entire wedding together and to do it, we had to put our amazing photographer on a wildly tall ladder. I love that picture and the happiness and chaos that I think about when I see it. When I told the photographer and Ms. Anita that I wanted to give it a shot, nobody tried to talk me out of it or give alternatives, they were just like, "okay, we’ll get the ladder."
What is the one thing that was definitely worth the money?
Having someone else to clean up the venue after the event is over. We pulled up the next day after brunch, and there were filled totes with all of our personal belongings for my in-laws to take home. That was the extent of the "clean-up" and it was so, so nice. Great photography and videography, and having Anita as our coordinator.
What is one thing that was not worth the “splurge”?
Our wedding cake.
Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?
I wished we would have done a simple cake for cutting-up. Just pictures and a sheet cake in the back. It was not worth the money, stress, or heartache.
What advice would you give someone just starting to plan their wedding?
Don’t plan your wedding based on what other people want or need. It’s your (and your partner’s) day. Don’t let someone tell you what it should look like.
5/5. We had the best time and it was not nearly as stressful as it could or would have been without Ms. Anita’s services
